What Edge reads

To draw its markers, Edge reads local window information only: the app a window belongs to, and each window's position and size. This stays on your device.

What Edge does not do

Edge does not collect, transmit, store, or sync your data. There is no account, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. Edge does not send anything to us or to anyone else.

Accessibility permission

macOS asks for Accessibility permission so Edge can read window positions accurately. This permission is used only to place markers. Edge never moves, resizes, or controls other apps' windows.
