About Edge

Color-coded windows for a clearer Mac.

Edge is a small macOS utility that color-codes your windows so you can find them instantly. Pick the apps that matter, give each one a color, and they'll always stand out without changing how a single window behaves.

Why it exists

We rely on spatial memory to navigate our screens, but that memory breaks down when every window looks the same flat gray. Edge fixes that with the lightest possible touch: a color on the edge. No tiling rules to learn, no layout it forces on you, just a visual cue that makes a crowded desktop legible again.

Built by 0001

Edge is built by 0001, solo and deliberately small. It's one of a family of focused tools that share the same idea: do one thing well, respect the people using it, and stay out of the way.

Visual only

Edge marks windows; it never controls them.

Local by default

Your data stays on your Mac. Always.

Native-feeling

We'd rather match macOS than show off.
